The three members of Pussy Riot are victims of President Vladimir Putin’s postelection crackdown on the opposition.

Fourteen people charged in another protest — one that took place on May 6, was legally sanctioned, yet ended in violent clashes with police — are poised to be the next victims.

Eleven of them are now in pretrial detention. As long as the world does not know who they are, they are at risk for brutality. These are their names:
